Activities With Friends

Maybe you're hanging out with a new friend... or maybe you are trying to get to know a new group of people better. What can you do? I have compiled my own list of things I like to do with my friends and people I want to get to know better.Of course, you should always consider what might interest others in the group, but these activities can work as a starting point to get your ideas flowing!

Shopping

I love shopping with my friends! We could go anywhere from Walmart, Dollar Tree, and to the mall. Walmart is nice because of all of the options you have (baking, toys, etc). Dollar Tree has multiple fun and cheap options to look at, and the mall has many different stores that you and someone else can look around in! This also might serve as a good way to get to know someone better, because walking around a mall can show you what things might spark someone's interest.

Crafts

Me and my friends LOVE doing crafts! A lot of times we can get supplies at the dollar store and we will end up painting, making bracelets, or sometimes we even stop by the thrift store and upcycle our own clothes. If you want some good ideas for crafts, might I suggest looking through Pinterest!

Games

There are so many options of games to play. You can take it back to the games you would play at recess, play a board game, card game... the possibilities are nearly endless! Have no idea what game to play? Make one!

Music and Media

If you are anything like me, music is a very big part of your life. Is ther any music that you can bond with? I love having deep conversations with people on why I like the music and artists that I do. Listenting to music and dancing around relieves so much stress and lets you really be yourself. You can bond over anything- music, books, movies, whatever. Anything that is interesting!

Eating

I love food! Sometimes the best way to get to know someone is just going out to get a bite to eat. Don't want to eat in front of someone? Maybe try coffee or smoothies. It can also be fun to go to the park and have a little picnic with this idea! After that you can play on all of the playgrounds if you wanted to (as long as you won't get sick of course)!

Friendship Bracelets

I consider myself someone who is very crafty. If I make a new friend, or even remind one of my current friends how much they mean to me, I will make them a gift. One of my favorite gifts to give is bracelets- or in this case friendship bracelets. I make many different kinds of bracelets depending on what I feel would fit best for the occassion and to best fit the person. Here's a few ways I make my bracelets (and don't worry, they aren't super complicated).
